Plumber John started out in 1987 working under an apprenticeship program with Rhodes Plumbing of Marathon, Florida, mostly working on high end custom homes and providing service work to individual customers. In 1997, he earned his journeyman's license and was managing several jobs at a time. He continued to excel by establishing relations with general contractors, building officials and additional clientele.

He left Rhodes Plumbing in 2003 to move to the Sarasota area where he began working with Southwest Plumbing mostly performing service work. In 2005, John successfully completed his further education through The Contractors Exam School and passed the Plumbing Contractors Exam which was administered by The State Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

In 2006, armed with his impressive on the job experience from his two former employers and high marks on the Plumbing Contractors Exam; John elected to leave his full time job to pursue his own company.
