Well, we can tell you that behind the name “Wimpy’s” is a history of quality, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction that has kept us in business for three generations—and we plan to be around for many more. Our History of Quality
Winfred Butler founded Wimpy's Plumbing & Air in 1973. He chose to name the company after his own nickname, “Wimpy,” because he wanted people to remember the humorous name and immediately associate it with excellent service and a friendly attitude. After Wimpy passed away in 2003, his son Bubba Butler continued the business and upheld the same level of service that our customers had grown to love. Bubba grew up in the plumbing profession, and at age 18 became the youngest Master Plumber in Florida. His sister Lori has served as our office manager since 1973, and his son Mike Butler has become the third generation of Master Plumber to enter the business and carry on the family tradition of providing truly Dependable Plumbing.
